PRODUCT OVERVIEW
This product provides access to historical Wind Power Volume (MWh) index values for Ireland. Speedwell Climate has developed and maintains a proprietary model, “Wind Power Ireland (incl NI) ERA5 100m 2019”, that converts gridded wind speeds into theoretical energy production for wind powered generation assets.
“Wind Power Ireland (incl NI) ERA5 100m 2019” is calculated using metadata (installed assets) as of December 2019, at which time Speedwell Climate have estimated the total installed capacity to be 30.53 GW.
